We formed in 2015 and had a great first year, attended many events, raised some money for local & national charities, attended community events such as the Ramsgate Town Christmas light switch on and the Margate Town Christmas market and appeared at the Force Awakens opening night at Rochester Cineworld. Check out the Gallery section to see what we are about.

We attend community events, help fund-raise, attend local events, help raise awareness for good causes etc. for FREE – if you would like us to appear at your event or help raise funds for your cause please Contact Us.

The East Kent Crew costume club (EKCCC) is a family friendly and child safe costuming group.

Our aim is to provide a safe, enjoyable environment to assist the community with fund raising, promotion, raising awareness, advance the interest in cosplay, cultivate friendships – have a good time, all the time.

We never expect anyone to *work* an event as we are all about fun and entertaining the general public. All we ask is that you can spare some free time and that if you are in costume it is of a good quality. The group can help you make, improve or upgrade any costumes you may have also.

Incorporated into our club is A.C.E the Amateur Cosplay Enthusiasts – a group for our members who are aged 18 and under.

We encourage everyone to *have a go* 🙂

The club is involved in a number of activities

Business Card front
  • Attending local and national conventions and events as a group
  • Helping local charities fund raise
  • Participating in community events such as carnivals, Christmas light switch on etc.
  • Event promotion
  • Raising awareness for causes and charities
  • Birthday parties

Safe Environment

As we pride ourselves on having a safe environment for our younger members and as we fund raise and visit areas with children all of our members are subject to a check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Our adult members are required to have an Enhanced check, The Disclosure and Barring Service has recently changed the rules on volunteers so the checks are now FREE, the only thing you have to pay is a £9.60 admin fee.
The EKCCC are now registered to run our own DBS checks. Although the check has no expiry date, it is recommended that they are renewed every 3 years. If you wish to join and already have a DBS certificate – please send us a copy for our records.

Please click the images below for more specific information on each of the groups and if you are interested in becoming a member – please fill in our online application form or please contact us 🙂
